The Details

When: August 21st | 4pm - 5pm

Where: Crawford Commons

All incoming and commuter students need to sign up for Warrior Welcome. Click Register to get started and select commuter status. Be sure to add any parent/guest numbers so we can best serve you and your family upon arrival. 

Welcome to Jessup! You are invited to connect with fellow students and peers for a chance to build community prior to the semester. Food, drink and games will be included for this event. For more information or questions, please contact:

The Schedule

The Schedule

  • Warrior Success Sessions (New & Transfer students)

    • Time: 2:30 - 3:30 pm

    • Hang with your Success Coach, Student Financial Services, & key program Faculty. This is an extremely important session to make sure you are ready for class on Monday. This is the Warrior Way.

    Commuter Connect (Check-In & Welcome)

    • Time: 4:00–5:00 PM

    • The official “Welcome to Jessup” session for Commuter students. We can’t wait to meet and connect with you!

  • Warrior Success Sessions (New & Transfer students)

    • Time: 2:30 - 3:30 pm

    • Time with your Success Coach, Student Financial Services, & key program Faculty. This is an extremely important session to make sure you are ready for class on Monday. This is the Warrior Way.

    Warrior Connect

    • Time: 4:30 - 5:15 pm

    • Parents meet Executives & Faculty

    Warrior Dinner

    • Time: 5:30 - 7:30 pm

    • A celebratory evening with dinner, worship, speakers, and intentional community moments

    Warrior Walk

    • Time: Following Warrior Dinner

    MUGing (featuring Cover Me Badd)

    • Root Beer Floats served by Jessup Parents

      • “Parents Serving Parents” 

  • Dinner in Caf

    • Time: 5:00 PM

    Kickback at the Plaza

    • Rikki Tikki at 7:00 PM

    • Laser Tag/Silent Disco at 8:30PM

  • Warrior Rally

    • Time: 7:00 PM

Warrior Welcome Collective Worship Night

We’re so excited to invite you to Warrior Welcome Collective Worship Night happening later this summer!

Join us on August 29 at Jessup University for a night of worship and community. Whether you’re coming with friends or on your own, we believe this night will be something that the Lord will reveal Himself through.

Event Details:

  • Pre-hang starts at 6:30 PM

  • Worship begins at 8:00 PM

We will have pop-up vendors—including thrifting, accessories, and ministry partners. We’ll also have food and drinks available, creating space for everyone to hang out, build community, all before going in to experience an incredible night of worship.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Warrior Welcome is your official start to life at Jessup. It includes move-in, check-in, community events, student connection opportunities, and helpful sessions to get you ready for your first week of classes.

  • Yes. All new students should register for Warrior Welcome so we know you are coming and can best prepare for the Welcome events.

  • Warrior Welcome begins in August before classes start.

    • August 21: Commuter Connect and Welcome Events

    • August 22: Kickback

    • August 25th: Classes Begin

  • All incoming students should participate, including:

    • New residential students

    • New commuter students

    • Transfer students

    • First-year students

  • No. Warrior Welcome is for all new students. Residential students will also complete housing check-in and move into their room. Commuter students will still have check-in steps and welcome events.

  • Before arriving, make sure you have completed the required steps that apply to you:

    • Register for Warrior Welcome

    • Complete your housing or commuter application

    • Submit required forms

    • Know your arrival date and check-in location

  • Yes. We encourage students to have their families be involved and see where their students will be thriving for their time at Jessup.

  • Parents should plan to help their student check in, unload, get settled, and participate in any parent/family portions of the day.

  • Meal information will be shared in the Warrior Welcome schedule. Residential students should also review their meal plan information before arriving.

  • Yes. Your Jessup ID card is important for campus access, meals, identification, and other student services. Follow the ID card instructions before Warrior Welcome.

  • Parents should plan to help their student check in, unload, get settled, and participate in any parent/family portions of the day.
