The Block

  • The Block (Apartments):

    The on campus apartment complex includes all of the amenities needed for upperclassmen living. It provides the highest level of independence available while still being conveniently located on-campus and integrated into the Jessup Community. Living in the apartments allows students to learn more responsibilities and prepare them for adulthood.

    4 bed 2 bath
    Twin extra-long bed and mattress per student
    Desk, chair, wardrobe, and 3 drawer dresser per student

    Complete kitchen with a refrigerator, electric stove, and dishwasher
    Laundry facilities located on each floor
    Thermostat

  • Room Capacity:

    Four double rooms, total of 8 residents

    Predominantly Juniors/Seniors and limited transfers

  • Room Dimensions:

    Dimensions vary depending on the location within the hall. A double room is approximately 181 square feet.

    Beds can be lofted but may need the assistance of Facilities.

  • Amenities:

    Roommates within each apartment room have an opportunity to rent one fridge/freezer through CCI and they will deliver it to your room before you arrive on campus. This fridge/freezer unit has been approved by Jessup University’s Facilities team and RLH for use in the Block apartments only. This is your only option if you want to get an extra refrigerator for food and beverage storage in your room. The great thing about this approved program is that our partner, CCI will deliver your rented fridge/freezer before school starts. When the year is over, we’ve got you covered as CCI will pick up the unit after you leave campus!

Collegiate Concepts (CCI)

Jessup students have spoken and Residence Life and Housing has listened. Year in and year out, students that live in the Block express their desire to have some sort of option for more food space in each apartment. Roommates within each apartment room have an opportunity to rent one fridge/freezer through Collegiate Concepts (CCI) and they will deliver it to your room before you arrive on campus.

This fridge/freezer unit has been approved by Jessup University’s Facilities team and Residence Life and Housing for use in the Block Apartments only. This is your only option if you want to get an extra refrigerator for food and beverage storage in your room. The great thing about this approved program is that our partner, CCI will deliver your rented ridge/freezer before school starts and when the year is over, we’ve got you covered as CCI will pick up the unit after you leave campus!
